Locations:

All 1000 and 2000 level teaching is now located at the North Haugh:

  • lectures will be delivered in the Purdie Building (yellow marker on the map) and
  • practicals in the two teaching laboratories on the ground floor of the MBSB. 
  • Teaching technicians associated with these practical classes have offices next to these laboratories
    (Mr Danny Speight, Mr Harry Hodge and Mrs Joyce Horsburgh).

Honours level teaching is located in different Biology buildings across campus depending on subject area.

Library resources for Biology students are now housed within the JF Allen Science Library in the Physics building on the North Haugh - the green marker on the map.

Study space is available both JF Allen Science Library in the Physics building and in the Bell Pettigrew Museum in the Bute Building (purple marker on the map - in town, off South Street)

Studying Support

The administrative offices of the School, and of the staff below have been relocated to the first floor of the new Medical and Biological Sciences Building (MBSB) on the North Haugh - the blue marker on the map.
