Visit the University of St Andrews website
full details of fees and fee classification. The MRes MMS is listed
under postgraduate exceptions. Please note that fees as advertised on
the University website are subject to change.
Funding and scholarships
There are currently no course-specific studentships
available. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that you have
sufficient funding to support yourself during the MRes. The postgraduate
scholarship section on the University of St Andrews website provides a
comprehensive list of potential funding bodies for UK, EU and overseas
students - please see University's postgraduate scholarship website.
If none of the listed scholarships apply to you then you will have to find your own
funding and explore funding opportunities in your home country.
note that application deadlines for most scholarship or
support schemes predate the start of the course by months (e.g.
application deadlines for September course entry can be as early as
December in the previous year). You should seek to apply for potential
as soon as possible. Please do not wait until you have been accepted
onto the MRes.Applicants
who are Scottish by birth, descent (at least one parent born in Scotland) or
have been continuously resident in Scotland for a period of at least three
years for the purpose of secondary or tertiary education in Scotland might be eligible for the Carnegie Cameron Post-Graduate (Taught) Bursaries which cover tuition fees. Please see here for
further details, and note that applications must be submitted by the
School (not the applicant!) by 15 March. Please contact us asap if you
think you qualify.
