Firstly, I will describe my own research interests in the topic of plant-plant interactions, particularly with respect to beneficial plant-plant interactions. I\u2019ll discuss the work I\u2019ve been involved in to explore their role in community structure and function, and how that fundamental knowledge is now being integrated into applied research especially around the issue of sustainable crop production.
