Distinguished Public Lecture: Fighting Racial Myths

The Biology Anti-Racist Committee (BARC) and the School of Biology EDI Committee are extremely excited to announce that award-winning journalist and author Angela Saini will be visiting St Andrews to give a Distinguished Public Lecture titled: Fighting Racial Myths: the biological meaninglessness of race and the inappropriation of science to support this flawed premise.

The event will be held at 1:30pm to 3pm, Friday 10 March 2023, in Purdie Lecture Theatre A. The event is free to attend and open to the public, but seating is limited so you must register in advance.

Angela will also be discussing her most recent book The Patriarchs at 8pm on Friday evening at Topping & Co Books.
