Picture of Martin Cockcroft, sat on a step

School of Biology Technical Operations Manager, Martin Cockcroft, told his amazing story to the Courier newspaper recently.  For more than three decades Martin regularly donated blood but he never realised the impact it had – until his own life depended on blood donors following a mesenteric artery aneurysm.  Back at work now in the School of Biology, Martin is aiming to continue making life saving contributions by completing training to join Blood Bikes Scotland and by supporting the Couriers, The Courier’s Be Our Blood campaign where the newspaper is asking people across Tayside, Fife and Stirling to register here and become a donor.
