UnknownMora Camacho-Cervantes, a PhD student in the School of Biology, attended Parliament to present her science to a range of politicians and a panel of expert judges, as part of SET for Britain on Monday 17 March.

Mora’s poster on research about social behaviour of invasive fish will be judged against dozens of other scientific research in the only national competition of its kind.

On presenting her science in Parliament, she said, “I have always been convinced of the importance of communicating scientific ideas on environmental conservation, being part of SET for Britain will be a great opportunity to reach wider audiences and top level decision makers”.

Mora was joined by Dr Arita Yoshihiko, of the School of Physics and Astronomy, who also presented an exhibit: Let Nothing Slow You Down: Microparticle Rotation In Vacuum.
