The University press office

If you’re organising any kind of public event, get in touch with the University press office in good time.  The press office can help you to communicate information about your event to the media, and provide you with advice about how best to do this.

For more information, visit the press office webpage.

The Royal Society

The Royal Society has a longstanding reputation for excellence in science communication. The Summer Science Exhibition is a prestigious annual event in which several University of St Andrews projects have been involved.

School of Biology staff have collated some of The Royal Society’s excellent advice for exhibitors, along with notes from Science Museum and British Interactive Group exhibit designers into a small pack of pdfs, which is available to download.

British Interactive Group

The British Interactive Group (BIG) is a not-for-profit organisation for all people involved in interactive science communication activities and hands-on education projects in the UK.

More information can be found about BIG on their website.
