Marie Sklodowska-Curie PDRA Fellowships: Expression of interest 2025
CoB seeks highly motivated and ambitious researches in the fields of biological physics, imaging, biophotonics and nanophotonics to apply for MSCA-2025 Postdoctoral Fellowships. We offer cutting-edge research groups and we will support you in building your application working together with you and the host PI to submit a competitive application. To apply for a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship at the CoB you should have:
- A PhD degree in a related area to the CoB themes
- A maximum of 8 years research experience, career break do not count
- For European Fellowships you must not have lived/worked in the UK for more than 12 months in the last 36 months
- For Global Fellowships you must not have lived/worked in the country of the outgoing phase for more than 12 months in the last 36 months
- The 2025 MSCA call has opened on the 9th April and the submission deadline is 10 September 2025
- The Expression of Interest should include a CV (maximum 2 pages, including ORCID, Scopus or ResearchID profile), and a letter of interest including your a brief description of your research areas and potential CoB members to act as hosting supervisors. We strongly encourage applications from women.
- Expressions of interest will be evaluated upon receipt by an internal comittee and selected on the basis of synergy and alignment with the CoB research areas.
Royal Society Newton International PDRA Fellowships: Expression of interest for 2026
CoB seeks highly motivated and ambitious researches worldwide in the fields of biological physics, imaging, biophotonics and nanophotonics to apply for Royal Society Newton Postdoctoral Fellowships. We offer cutting-edge research groups and we will support you in building your application working together with you and the host PI to submit a competitive application. Interested candidates should contact the CoB Director ([email protected]) including a CV.
The 2026 call is expected to open in January 2026 with a submission deadline March-April 2026. We strongly encouraged to contact the CoB as quick as possible to act as UK Sponsor. To be eligible to apply you must:
- have a PhD or will have a PhD by the time the funding starts
- no more than 7 years of active full time postdoctoral experience at the time of the application, discounting career breaks
- be working outside the UK
- not hold a UK citizenship
- be competent in oral and written English
